We visited Sukhothai for a couple of nights – which was probably one night too many in our minds – and stayed at Ban Thai Guesthouse for those nights. The room was a private double room with a fan and cost us about $10 USD a night. The guesthouse is close to the night market which makes food options convenient. Still, it’s not exactly close to the attractions you will want to see. At the same time, there is easy transport to the sights so it’s not a big deal.
If we were to go back to Sukhothai, we would only stay one night and this guesthouse certainly does come at a good value. Overall, a stay for one night is recommended. Not more.
